Mexico's electoral body INE names Blanca Cruz interim chief, media reports

Blanca ​Cruz ‌was named on Tuesday as interim chief ‌of the ‌Mexico's electoral body INE, several local ⁠media ​outlets ⁠reported.

Cruz will replace ⁠Guadalupe Taddei, who ​resigned on Monday amid ⁠allegations of ⁠corruption, a ​decision President Claudia Sheinbaum supported.
