Justice Department files request for preliminary injunction in Alaska election case

​The ​US ‌Justice Department ​on ‌Friday asked a federal judge to issue ‌a preliminary injunction ‌that would block Alaska from ⁠certifying ​its ⁠Senate election result if Republican ⁠Senator Dan ​Sullivan loses and ⁠votes cast for ⁠another candidate ​named Dan J. ⁠Sullivan could theoretically ⁠change the outcome.
