SDF trying hard to confirm identity of bodies discovered from mass grave

The U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces are trying to confirm if dozens of bodies found in a mass grave in territory recently captured from Islamic State are Yazidis who were held captive by the jihadists, an SDF commander said on Thursday. Adnan Afrin said many of the dead were women. The grave was found in the Baghouz area near the Iraqi border.
