EU will weigh cost and benefit of any Brexit delay - Romania

The European Union will weigh the benefits and costs of any Brexit delay, George Ciamba, EU affairs minister for Romania, said on Tuesday.

"We are fully engaged with the UK side. We are looking forward to get a clearer picture," Ciamba said after chairing talks of EU ministers on Brexit.

"At the end of the day, we have to see what we are gaining," he said of the EU leaders' summit this Thursday and Friday due to decide on any Brexit delay, should a request come from London. (Reporting by Gabriela Baczynska)
