Maple Leafs F Hyman set for ACL surgery

Forward Zach Hyman will undergo surgery for a torn ACL on Monday and is expected to need six months to recover. Hyman, 26, was injured during the Maple Leafs' first-round loss to the Boston Bruins.

Despite the injury, Hyman played in all seven postseason games for the Leafs, who were eliminated in a 5-1 Game 7 loss on Tuesday. Hyman had career highs in goals (21) and points (41) this season, his fourth in the league.
