Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry will play Sunday afternoon in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Houston Rockets despite an ankle injury, but his backcourt mate, Klay Thompson, is questionable. Coach Steve Kerr said Thompson will take part in pregame warmups and his status will be a game-time decision.

Thompson also has an ankle injury, but an MRI on Saturday night came back normal. "If (Thompson's injury) is going to get worse, we should not play him today," Kerr told reporters.

Houston guard Austin Rivers, who is suffering from an illness, will not play.
