Congo soldiers kill 26 members of ADF, allegedly linked to IS

Congolese forces killed 26 rebels from the Islamist Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), a group believed to be linked to Islamic State, while repelling an attack on Thursday, the army said.

An army spokesman said the assailants attacked an army position in the village of Ngite, but the soldiers returned fire.
