Interim Moldovan president signs decree to hold Sept snap election

Moldova's interim President Pavel Filip said on Sunday he had signed a decree for the country to hold a snap election in September.

Filip was appointed as interim leader after a court relieved President Igor Dodon of his duties because Dodon had refused to dissolve parliament and backed the formation of a new coalition government instead.
