Magnitude 6.6 quake strikes off east Russian coast - USGS

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 struck in the sea off eastern Russia on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicentre of the quake was 152 km (94 miles) northwest of Nikol'skoye, Komandorskiye Ostrova, at a depth of about 33 km, the USGS said. There were no immediate tsunami warnings issued after the quake.
