U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken raised concerns over human rights and concerns about Egypt's potential procurement of Su-35 fighter aircraft from Russia in a call Tuesday with his Egyptian counterpart, the State Department said.
Blinken and Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry also discussed the two countries cooperation on security and counterterrorism, as well as regional peace initiatves, it said in a statement.
