MP: Two held for firing at liquor trader in Indore

The police on Wednesday arrested two persons for allegedly shooting and injuring a liquor trader during a dispute in Madhya Pradeshs Indore city, an official said. In a dispute between two liquor trading groups, a man identified as Arjun Thakur was shot and injured in the office of a liquor trading firm on Monday, and the incident led to some people pelting stones in protest, the police had said.

The police on Wednesday arrested two persons for allegedly shooting and injuring a liquor trader during a dispute in Madhya Pradesh's Indore city, an official said. The police had announced a reward of Rs 10,000 for each of the accused Satish Bhau and Chintu Thakur, who were nabbed from Bhopal, superintendent of police (SP) East, Ashutosh Bagri said.

The hunt is on for another accused Hemu Thakur, who is absconding, the official said.
