Japan and S.Korea business lobbies launch 'future-oriented' foundations

Japan's business lobby Keidanren said on Thursday it and its South Korean counterpart, the Federation of Korean Industries, agreed to launch foundations, respectively, aimed at 'future-oriented' bilateral relations.

The announcement by Keidanren, also known as the Japan Business Federation, came hours before the leaders of two East Asian countries are set to meet in Tokyo to find common ground at a time of heightened tension in the region.
