Police officer hurt in raids in Reichsbuerger probe in Germany - ARD
- Country:
- Germany
German authorities are conducting searches in seven states in connection with investigations into the far-right Reichsbuerger scene and a police officer has been slightly injured, broadcaster ARD reported on Wednesday.
The German prosecutor's office declined to comment on the report immediately. Last year, German police said they had foiled a
plot by members of Germany's Reichsbuerger movement who had planned a violent coup and wanted to install a minor royal as national leader.
Reichsbuerger (Citizens of the Reich) do not recognise modern-day Germany as a legitimate state.
