The three persons were on Sunday apprehended from Honhe village in the district, a senior officer said. The body of Sanjay Mahto, a resident of the village in Tandwa area, around 110 km from the state capital Ranchi, was found on railway tracks on March 24.

Mahto’s family members had on March 23 lodged a complaint, alleging that he was abducted, police said. ''A day after, his body was found in mutilated condition on railway tracks in Chatra district,” the officer said.
