A woman in her late 20s was found dead here with her face burnt, police said on Sunday.

The body was found in Kampil area here on Saturday evening, said Sub-Inspector Mohammad Sartaz.

The identity of the woman is yet to be ascertained. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, he said.
