The city police Friday said they would allow bursting of fire-crackers between 8 pm and 10 pm for three days from Diwali which falls on December 6.
The noise level from the fire-crackers during the two hours should not exceed the permissible limits prescribed by the Pollution Control Board, a press release from the police said.
Citing the recent ruling of the Supreme Court, the release said the order would be in force for three days beginning from November 6.
