Woman kills self in Gurugram

A 33-year-old woman ended her life by hanging herself here, police said on Tuesday.
The woman was living with a man in a rented accommodation in the Nathupur area after ending her marriage with her husband, they said.
On Monday, she was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her room, police said.
The woman’s father filed a complaint with the police alleging that the man used to beat and harass his daughter, police said, adding an FIR was registered against the accused for abatement of suicide at DLF phase-3 police station.
A case has been registered and the accused will be arrested soon, said Rajendra Singh, house officer of the police station.
