Divorce applicant found dead in house in Noida

In a suspected case of suicide, a 31-year-old divorce applicant was found hanging at her home here, police said on Friday.

The woman's body was found hanging from a fan in her house at Sector 62 here on Thursday, they added.

The victim, who hailed from Meerut district in Uttar Pradesh, had filed a divorce case against her husband, a police officer said, adding that the couple got married only last year.

The deceased's body has been sent for post-mortem and her family has been informed, the officer added.
