U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met in Riyadh with the head of Yemen's internationally recognized government on Thursday and expressed concern with actions by the Houthi movement that are cutting Yemenis off from resources, the State Department said.
Blinken told Rashad al-Alimi, president of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, that parties to the Yemen conflict must come together to strike a new, more comprehensive deal to end the war, a department spokesperson said.
