U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Monday in Beijing that the United States and China agreed on the need to stabilise their bilateral relationship, adding that the U.S. is clear-eyed about the challenges that China poses.

Speaking to the press following his meeting with Xi, Blinken also said U.S. expects additional visits by senior U.S. officials to China over the coming weeks.
