Uttarakhand government announces public holiday on Chhath festival

The Uttarakhand government has announced a public holiday on Tuesday on the occasion of Chhath festival, an official said Monday.
However, the banks, treasuries and sub-treasuries will remain open, said Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi.
