Armed drone shot down over US base in northern Iraq -sources

Defence systems shot down an armed drone on Wednesday over Erbil airport in northern Iraq where U.S. and other international forces are stationed, two security sources said.

It was not clear if there were casualties or damage to infrastructure as a result to the attack, said the sources.
