China commerce minister expressed concern to US counterpart on chip curbs - Chinese ministry

China's commerce minister has expressed serious concerns on chip supply chain investigations by the United States as well as its sanctions against Chinese enterprises, the Chinese Commerce Ministry said on Thursday.

Commerce Minister Wang Wentao also conveyed concerns about curbs in exports of lithography machines to China when he spoke with U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo on Thursday, the ministry said.
