BSF IG General Ram Awtar calls on J&K governor

BSF Inspector General Ram Awtar called on Governor Satya Pal Malik on Tuesday and briefed him about the paramilitary forces' operations in the Jammu Frontier.

Awtar met the governor at the Raj Bhavan here, an official spokesperson said.

The inspector general of the Jammu Frontier briefed Malik about some of the current issues relating to Border Security Force's (BSF's) operations in the region and the likely pattern of the emerging security scenario.
