Water level rises sharply in Russia's Kurgan region, RIA reports

The village of Kaminskoye in Russia's Kurgan region was being evacuated on Friday morning after water level there rose 1.4 meters overnight, the RIA news agency cited regional governor Vadim Shumkov as saying.

Kaminskoye is one of the settlements along the Tobol river.
