Russia's Shoigu says Ukrainian strikes on Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant risk catastrophe, says TASS

Ukrainian strikes on the Zaporozhzhia nuclear power plant risk catastrophic consequences, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Friday, Russian state news agency TASS reported.

Shoigu was also cited as saying that foreign advisers were helping Ukraine prepare acts of sabotage on Russian territory. He did not provide evidence to back up his words.

Russia and Ukraine accuse each other of reckless military behaviour when it comes to the nuclear power plant.
