Bank of Mexico holds key interest rate at 11.00%

The Bank of Mexico held its benchmark interest rate at 11.00% on Thursday, as persistent inflation in Latin America's second-largest economy remains above the bank's target range.

The decision by the bank's five-member board was unanimous, the monetary authority said in a statement.
