China Imposes Sanctions on U.S. Military Industrial Giants

China has announced countermeasures against 12 U.S. military industrial firms and their top executives, including Lockheed Martin and Raytheon units. The sanctions involve asset freezes and entry bans, effective immediately.

China has taken counter measures against 12 U.S. military industrial companies and their senior executives, including units of Lockheed Martin and Raytheon, the foreign ministry said on Wednesday.

The measures, which include freezing movable, immovable and other types of assets in China, as well as banning entry for senior executives, would take effect from Wednesday.
