Mother Arrested in Porsche Accident Case for Swapping Blood Samples

The mother of a minor involved in a fatal Porsche car accident has been arrested for swapping his blood samples with hers to conceal alcohol consumption. Multiple arrests have been made, including doctors and family members, under various charges including culpable homicide and forgery. The case has sparked nationwide outrage.

In a shocking development, the mother of the minor involved in the infamous Porsche car accident has been taken into custody for allegedly swapping her son's blood samples with hers in a bid to hide his alcohol consumption, according to Pune police chief Amitesh Kumar.

The police interrogated the minor for nearly an hour at the observation home, where he is present until June 5, but stated that he and his mother were uncooperative during the probe. This arrest follows the revelation that the 17-year-old's blood samples were swapped with those of a woman.

Dr. Ajay Taware, chief of the forensic medicine department at Sassoon General Hospital, along with Dr. Shrihari Halnor and hospital staff Atul Ghatkamble, were already arrested for their role in the sample swap. Family members of the minor, including his father and grandfather, face multiple charges such as culpable homicide, negligence, and criminal conspiracy, among others. The investigation into financial transactions and technical evidence is ongoing, with the police aiming to build a watertight case.
