Shootout in Dwarka: Two Arrested After Engaging Police in Dramatic Chase

Two men, Veerpal (20) and Ankit (22), were arrested after a shoot-out at a property dealer's office in Dwarka's Jharoda area. One was injured and taken to the hospital. They were caught with the help of CCTV footage and admitted to being members of the Kala Jathedi-gang, aiming to extort protection money.

In a dramatic shoot-out, two men were arrested by the police after targeting a property dealer’s office in Dwarka’s Jharoda area on Saturday evening. The suspects, Veerpal (20) and Ankit (22), allegedly engaged the police in a gunfight before being apprehended.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka), Ankit Singh, revealed the assailants had initially opened fire on Friday. Returning the next day in the same attire and on the same bike, they repeated the attack. The police team, led by Inspector Kamlesh, quickly responded and managed to overpower the duo after a brief chase.

Veerpal sustained a bullet injury and was hospitalized, while Ankit was interrogated. Ankit disclosed their affiliation with the Kala Jathedi-gang, admitting the attack was an attempt to extort protection money from the property dealer. Further investigations are ongoing.
