Tragic Accident Claims Young Law Student's Life in Himachal

A 19-year-old student from the National Law University, Delhi, named Akshat Dev, tragically lost his life after being struck by a falling stone in Himachal Pradesh's Solan district, police confirmed on Saturday.
According to authorities, Akshat Dev, hailing from Gandhinagar in Jaipur, Rajasthan, was in a group of 13 students visiting Ashwani Khad and its nearby waterfall on Friday evening. While the group was enjoying near the waterfall, a stone fell from a cliff, hitting Akshat on the head and rendering him unconscious due to severe blood loss.
He was immediately rushed to the Government Regional Hospital in Solan, but was declared brought dead upon arrival. Solan Superintendent of Police, Gaurav Singh, confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation is currently underway.
