History-Sheeter Attacked in Broad Daylight

Shami Niyamat, a history-sheeter serving life for murder, was attacked by unidentified assailants in Kota while heading home. The assailants fired at him and used sharp weapons before fleeing. Niyamat is undergoing treatment and is out of danger. The police are investigating.

In a shocking incident on Saturday, Shami Niyamat, a history-sheeter currently serving a life sentence for murder, was attacked by unidentified assailants in Kota.

Niyamat, 35, was heading home after parking his SUV when three assailants struck. One fired a bullet that hit his shoulder, while two others attacked him with sharp-edged weapons from behind. The perpetrators fled on motorcycles, leaving Niyamat injured.

Police officials, including Superintendent of Police Kota city Amrita Duhan, rushed to the spot. Niyamat is being treated at MBS hospital and is reported to be out of danger. The investigation is ongoing and the attackers remain at large.
