Tragedy in Dhanpur: Constable’s Son Found Dead After Ransom Demand

The six-year-old son of Gopal Yadav, a UP Police Constable from Dhanpur village, was found dead after a ransom demand of Rs 50 lakh. The boy went missing while playing outside his house, and his body was later discovered in a sugarcane field. Police are investigating the incident.

In a heart-wrenching incident, the six-year-old son of Gopal Yadav, a UP Police Constable posted in Saharanpur, was found dead in Dhanpur village after a ransom demand of Rs 50 lakh. The child disappeared while playing outside his house around 8 am on Sunday.

A ransom letter was received by the Yadav family, prompting police to initially detain a local woman who the family suspected of kidnapping the boy. Unfortunately, the child's lifeless body was discovered in a nearby sugarcane field later in the day.

Senior Superintendent of Police Rohit Singh Sajwan stated that the ransom letter is currently under analysis, and the family believes the murder could also be linked to a land dispute. Four individuals, including two women, have been detained for interrogation as the investigation continues.
