Delhi Lt Governor V K Saxena confirms Haryana is providing Delhi with its allocated share of water amidst severe shortages attributed to summer heat. He stalls blame-game tactics, urging Delhi ministers to resolve the issue amicably after speaking to Haryana's CM, Nayab Singh Saini.

Delhi Lt Governor V K Saxena emphasized on Tuesday that Haryana is ensuring the national capital receives its allocated share of water, amid severe shortages exacerbated by the summer heat. This assurance follows repeated accusations by Delhi's AAP government that BJP-ruled Haryana was curtailing their water supply.

The L-G held discussions with Delhi ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj on Monday, promising to address the matter with Haryana's Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. Emphasizing the importance of collaboration, he advised against engaging in a “blame game.”

Saxena later posted on X, confirming his conversation with CM Saini, who guaranteed Haryana's commitment to assisting Delhi despite its own challenges due to the ongoing heatwave.
