Survivors of the brutal terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district have recounted the horror of the June 9 incident. Neelam Gupta, one of the 41 injured, described the relentless firing even after their bus tumbled into a gorge.

Nine pilgrims lost their lives in the tragic assault on the vehicle traveling from Shiv Khori temple to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine. The 53-seater bus, carrying pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Delhi, veered off the road due to indiscriminate gunfire by the terrorists.

Neelam, who suffered a fracture in her left leg, along with other survivors, waited in fear until locals arrived to assist them. Security personnel eventually reached the scene and transported the injured to nearby hospitals for treatment.
