Tiger Attack Claims Farmer's Life in Madhotanda

Deputy Director of Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, Manish Singh, confirmed the fatal tiger attack and sent the body for post-mortem. According to the farmer's family, Puranlal had gone to irrigate crops on Wednesday night with two youths, who later returned without him. The search for Puranlal led to the gruesome discovery of his body the next morning.

The incident sparked local outrage, prompting a demonstration demanding compensation. The police, however, managed to calm the situation and end the protest.
