Tragic Inferno: Resident Charred to Death in Saheed Nagar House Fire

A 35-year-old man, Bharat Vashisht, tragically died in a house fire in Saheed Nagar. The fire, caused by a lamp in the house's temple, forced Bharat and his father to evacuate. Bharat reentered the house and suffered fatal burns. He was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.

A 35-year-old man, identified as Bharat Vashisht, met a tragic end after being charred to death in a house fire in Saheed Nagar, police reported on Friday. According to officials, the fire broke out due to a lamp lit in the temple of their home.

Both Bharat and his father, KG Vashisht, were asleep when the fire erupted. They managed to escape initially, but Bharat reentered the house and suffered severe burn injuries.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) PK Rai stated that Bharat was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival. The body has been sent for post-mortem, and further investigation is underway.
