In a bid to expedite the process of conducting competitive examinations, Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen K T Parnaik (Retd) on Friday urged the state's public service commission to accelerate their efforts.

During an interaction with the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) team led by Chairman Prof Pradip Lingfa at Raj Bhavan, the governor recommended several strategies to address the challenges in conducting examinations.

The governor emphasized the importance of upholding the integrity, merit, and mandate of the commission in every action. Prof Lingfa presented a special report on the commission's initiatives and future plans. The meeting was also attended by APPSC members Colonel (Retd) Koj Tari, Rosy Taba, Jalash Perting, and Parul Gaur Mittal.
