Tragic Murder in Maharashtra: Woman Brutally Killed Over Suspicion

A 45-year-old woman was brutally murdered by two assailants in Maharashtra's Latur district, police revealed on Wednesday. The victim, Taramati Kachru Dhage, was suspected of hiding information about a prior murder in her village.

The incident occurred on Monday evening near Vilegao village under Ahmedpur tehsil. Following an immediate complaint by Taramati's son, law enforcement swiftly apprehended the suspects, Sainath Telge and Babu Haqqani Shaikh.

Sainath Telge, driven by suspicion regarding the past murder of his brother, confronted Taramati near the Manyad river. The attack, involving a sharp weapon, proved fatal. The suspects were subsequently presented in court and remanded to police custody for four days.
