Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday held a crucial review meeting with senior police officers to address the state's law and order situation. He directed stringent action against criminals, especially targeting gang networks.

Amidst increasing opposition attacks criticizing the deteriorating security, Saini emphasized relentless drives against gangsters and other criminals. The Chief Minister demanded a visible police presence to instill fear among criminals and instructed decisive action within a week.

Saini plans to personally review the crime rate in a subsequent meeting. He also urged senior police officials to meet crime victims to bolster public trust, stressing the importance of addressing even minor information seriously. Further, he highlighted the necessity of clamping down on the illegal drug trade and expedited the confiscation of drug dealers' properties, instructing the DGP to organize public seminars on the newly implemented criminal laws.
