Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Anil Parab has filed a breach of privilege motion against Maharashtra industries minister Uday Samant in the legislative council, accusing him of providing misleading information.

During a recent discussion, Samant claimed that Rs 90 crore had been recovered from Roadways Solutions Pvt Ltd. However, Parab alleges that this statement is false and that no such recovery has been made.

According to Parab, the government had imposed a fine on Roadways Solutions for delay in roadworks in Mumbai, but he insists that the money was never recovered, and doubts the effectiveness of the appointed arbitrator in securing the funds.
