BJP Worker Fatally Attacked in Kotputli-Behror

A BJP worker and businessman, Yasin, died after being attacked by a group in Kotputli-Behror district. Returning to Alwar from Jaipur, Yasin was assaulted with iron rods and sticks. He was rushed to SMS Hospital in Jaipur where he succumbed to his injuries. Police have launched a search for the absconding attackers.

A tragic incident unfolded in Kotputli-Behror district as a BJP worker and businessman, Yasin, was fatally attacked by a group of individuals, according to police reports on Friday.

Returning to Alwar from Jaipur on Thursday evening, Yasin's vehicle was intercepted by eight assailants who attacked him with iron rods and sticks, leaving him critically injured, Additional SP Nem Singh Chauhan revealed. Despite immediate medical attention at a nearby community health center and subsequent transfer to Jaipur's Sawai Man Singh Hospital (SMS), Yasin succumbed to his injuries, Narainpur Station House Officer (SHO) Shambhu Meena confirmed.

The attack, which took place near Vijayapura village, also left Parmendra Sharma, who was traveling with Yasin, with minor injuries. The attackers, who are currently at large, were reportedly driven by an old enmity, police stated. BJP leader and MLA Baba Balaknath termed the incident as shocking.
