Dramatic Police Gunfight: 'Thak-Thak' Gang Members Arrested in Noida

In a dramatic turn of events, two members of the notorious 'thak-thak' gang were arrested in Noida on Friday following a gunfight with the police.
Deepak alias Manish and Imtiaz alias Arman, who sustained gunshot injuries in the exchange, are known criminals with extensive criminal records. The skirmish occurred near the Sector 41 outpost under Sector 39 police station limits during a routine check.
According to Additional DCP Noida, Manish Kumar Mishra, the gang members opened fire on the officers, prompting police to retaliate. Both suspects were shot in their legs.
The suspects were involved in breaking car windows and stealing valuables, a classic trait of the 'thak-thak' gang. They have over 80 criminal cases between them. Two illegal firearms, stolen laptops, and Rs 8,000 cash were seized from them.
The arrested individuals are seasoned criminals, stated Assistant Commissioner of Police Praveen Kumar Singh. They were taken to a hospital for treatment as investigations continue.
