GOC Navin Sachdeva Reviews Security in Rajouri amid Terror Threats

General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General Navin Sachdeva, reviewed the security situation across Rajouri's Kalakote, Basantgarh, and other districts like Doda and Udhampur. Following recent terror incidents, Sachdeva commended troops for their professionalism and urged them to maintain high morale and operational readiness.

General Officer Commanding White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General Navin Sachdeva, reviewed the security situation in Rajouri district's Kalakote belt on Friday. He praised the professionalism of the troops operating in the region's challenging conditions and urged them to maintain high morale and motivation.

In addition to visiting Kalakote, the GOC White Knight Corps, accompanied by the GOC Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo), assessed the security situation in Basantgarh (Udhampur) and Doda. The visit follows a terrorist attack in the Shiv Khori area, where a bus carrying pilgrims was targeted, resulting in nine deaths and injuries to 41 others.

Given the heightened threat from terrorist groups in different districts of the Jammu region, Lieutenant General Sachdeva has been actively reaching out to ground troops to review their readiness and security measures. Earlier this week, he visited Guluthi and Dera Ki Gali (DKG) in Rajouri district to evaluate their operational preparedness. On July 3, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi also reviewed the security situation along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch, urging troops to remain vigilant.
