Senior Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda severely criticized the Nayab Singh Saini-led Haryana government on Saturday, alleging that it has failed to maintain law and order, turning the state into an 'unsafe' place.
Hooda claimed that criminals now openly engage in murder, robbery, and extortion, making life difficult for common people and businessmen.
He asserted that during Congress's tenure, Haryana was a developed state, which now suffers under BJP rule. Hooda promised a strict crackdown on criminals and drug smugglers if Congress regains power.
The leader announced the 'Haryana Maange Hisab Abhiyan' campaign, set to launch on July 15, to expose state government 'failures'.
State Congress president Udai Bhan echoed these concerns, pointing out a rise in fear among traders and declining investment.
Bhupinder Singh Hooda visited the home of recently murdered JJP leader Ravindra Saini, extending condolences and demanding swift justice.
