Lt Gen Hitesh Bhalla Reviews Security in Ladakh's Line of Control
Lt Gen Hitesh Bhalla, General Officer Commanding of Leh-based Fire and Fury Corps, reviewed the security at the Line of Control (LoC) in Ladakh. He praised the efforts of the 'Forever in Operations Division' for maintaining high operational standards. The army also disposed of nine unexploded ordnances (UXOs).

Lt Gen Hitesh Bhalla, General Officer Commanding of Leh-based Fire and Fury Corps, reviewed the security situation along the Line of Control (LoC) in Ladakh on Tuesday, according to the army.
Taking command of the strategically essential XIV Corps on July 1, Lt Gen Bhalla visited forward posts under the 'Forever in Operations Division' and assessed the security measures in place.
The General commended all ranks of the division for their high standards of operational preparedness and dedication to maintaining the sanctity of the Line of Control, despite challenging terrain and adverse weather. On social media platform X, the Fire and Fury Corps highlighted these commendations.
In parallel efforts, the army, in coordination with civil administration, disposed of nine unexploded ordnances (UXOs) from July 4 to 13, continuing its mission to ensure safety and eliminate threats to human life.
Since January 1, the corps has destroyed a total of 103 UXOs in Kargil district, as reported in another post by the Fire and Fury Corps.
