Tragic Turn: Dowry Harassment Case Emerges After Woman's Murder

A married woman in Navi Mumbai was raped and murdered by three priests, leading to their arrest. Following the tragic rape and murder of a married woman in Navi Mumbai's Sheel-Daighar area, police have registered a case of alleged dowry harassment against her husband, authorities reported on Tuesday.

The woman fell prey to three temple priests on July 6. The accused were swiftly apprehended by the police. However, the ordeal seems far from over for the victim's family.

In an additional complaint, the woman's father accused her husband and in-laws of ongoing dowry harassment, which included taking away her child during a period of significant stress. Despite these distressing allegations, no arrests have been made in the dowry harassment case so far.
