Tragic Dog Attack Claims Toddler's Life in Jawahar Nagar

An 18-month-old boy was tragically killed after being mauled by a group of stray dogs in Jawahar Nagar, according to police reports issued on Wednesday.

The horrifying incident took place on Tuesday night when the toddler wandered out of his home. A dog dragged him some distance, and subsequently, other stray dogs attacked him, causing severe injuries.

The child was first rushed to a private hospital, but due to the severity of his injuries, he was referred to a state-run hospital, where he sadly passed away. Authorities from the Jawahar Nagar police station confirmed that a case has been registered following a complaint from the boy's parents. The family had recently relocated from the Siddipet district two months prior.
