Murmu to Inaugurate International Centre for Audit of Local Governance
Girish Chandra Murmu, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, will inaugurate the International Centre for Audit of Local Governance (iCAL) in Rajkot. This centre aims to enhance the capacity of local government auditors through training and leadership development, and will also act as a think tank for governance issues.

Girish Chandra Murmu, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, is set to inaugurate the International Centre for Audit of Local Governance (iCAL) in Rajkot on Thursday.
The centre aims to empower local government auditors, executives, and elected representatives through specialized training and leadership development initiatives, according to an official statement.
iCAL will also function as a knowledge centre and think tank addressing grassroots governance issues, bringing together policymakers, administrators, and auditors in interactive workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.
