Two army personnel were injured in a gunfight with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district, officials reported Thursday. The clash occurred in a remote forest area as security forces continued their search for ultras responsible for killing four soldiers three days ago.

The gunfight, lasting more than an hour, took place in Jaddan Bata village, Kastigarh area, around 2 am when terrorists attacked a temporary camp at a government school. One critically injured soldier was evacuated to the Udhampur Command Hospital by an advanced light helicopter amidst challenging weather conditions.

In another incident, security forces fired at suspicious movement near the Line of Control in Rajouri district's Sunderbani sector. Despite adverse weather and terrain, security forces remain determined to eliminate the terrorists and restore peace. The aftermath of the incidents includes the suspected release of a propaganda video by a Pakistani terror group, which officials denounced as doctored.
